We made this open sterling silver ring from the handpiece of an antique cocktail fork. We combined it with an oval shaped garnet from India.
The beautiful rose design dates back to 1937 and was named "Rambler Rose". It was created by the designer Harold E. Nock for the silver manufacturer „Towle Silversmiths“. The Towle company was established in Newburyport, Massachusetts, USA in 1857. This floral-motif pattern is decorated with a line of roses trailing down a glossy handle, ending in a tip adorned with more roses.
Roses are a symbol for love and passion.
Garnet is the stone of love, trust and friendship. It should promote joy of life, willpower, potency and self-confidence. It also stimulates circulation and the metabolism.
